Yesterday was an absolute whirlwind in the Chelsea hemisphere as fans, players, and staff awaited further news on the latest situation regarding club ownership takeover.
There were a lot of contrasting stories floating around, and who was on the shortlist and in the lead was all dependent on what you read, which was summed up nicely in this tweet..

However, this morning, the same reliable reporter from The Telegraph, two groups have now officially been told that they ARE on the shortlisted to make the final round of bidders to buy Chelsea Football Club.
That is the consortium led by American Todd Boehly, and the English led group of Sir Martin Broughton and others.

The hugely unpopular Ricketts Family are still waiting to find out if they have made the list, as our Nick Candy’s group.
It will be a tense day again today as we await official confirmation on the others. But it looks to be two frontrunners right now.
