As the days go on now slowly but surely we are all starting to piece together little bits of each consortium looking to buy Chelsea Football club.
It’s been much easier now the bidders have been reduced to just four on the final shortlist, but even still, it is impossible to find complete transparency on each consortium and every single person they have in it.
It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!
The Telegraph have ran an interview with a PR broker, Barbara Charone, who will play a ‘key-role’ in Todd Boehly’s consortium should they be successful, and although she was keen not to speak too much about their efforts to buy Chelsea and speak about rival bidders, she did confirm there would be no attempts to join a European Super League, which is a massive bonus.
Charone is a massive Chelsea fan and she will be in her usual spot watching Chelsea vs Real Madrid this evening.
She guaranteed Super League talks would remain permanently off the menu under her team’s vision. “I’m all for the football pyramid,” she said. “People going up, people going down – everyone having a chance. What good is football if you don’t have faith? The whole of football is built on faith. It’s not just about three points. I think involving the fans is really key. And I thought it was really great that Chelsea fans were the first to really demonstrate last year outside the ground when it happened, and force the complete about-turn.”
