Chelsea player reveals how they’ve been dealing with the club takeover noise

It feels like Chelsea’s takeover situation has been going on for a very long time now and it is all we have been hearing about.

Like most, I will be very pleased when it is all over and we know the new owners and can move on and concentrate on the on-field operations.

One outsider to buy Chelsea building a VERY strong group

For the players and coaches too it has been a difficult situation and very unknown. They have been doing superbly to carry on going through this regardless and actually getting some very good results on the pitch with some good performances.

Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek says it’s been a time where they have just been trying to focus on things on the pitch and trying not to think about the takeover.

They’ve looked very together collectively as a club in all departments through this, and it is that togetherness that Loftus-Cheek says has kept them all going.

“We try not to think about the off-field things too much to be honest, especially when you have a game of this magnitude to focus on,’ he said as reported by the Chelsea website.

“From now until the end of the season, we’ve got some really big games coming up and we can’t afford to have our minds on other things.

“We will stay tight as group and that’s why we are able to focus on the task ahead and putting in strong performances like we’ve shown recently.”
