There are so many unknowns at Chelsea Football Club right now it is starting to become hugely frustrating for everyone involved, us fans included.
We have no idea who the new owners will even be yet, let alone how they are going to operate this summer and what plans they might have in the market. The biggest thing will be how serious they are about getting some of our out of contract players to sign new deals, most importantly, Antonio Rudiger.
The centre back looked close to signing a new deal before the sanctions hit, but now it appears that he wants to have his future sorted by this month or early in May, and that future could now involve a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid seemed to be ruled out of a move to sign him after initial rumours, but that now could also be back on, according to Marca reporter Mario Cortegana, as cited below…
