It’s half time in the Manchester United – Chelsea game, and it’s somehow still 0-0.
The Blues have dominated a pretty dull game against an abject Man U, but some bad finishing has cost them and they haven’t been able to find the net.
Reece James and Marcos Alonso are making hay down the wings, and Kai Havertz has got the better of his marker a few times without scoring. He should be disappointed by his finishing without doubt.
Hopefully Thomas Tuchel’s team will come out and dominate the second period in the same way – but we all know that teams that miss chances often pay the price in the second half if they don’t take the lead.
Romelu Lukaku will likely see some action in the second half unless things change pretty early on. And given how things have gone, we wouldn’t object to that at all.
Let’s get this done.
