Chelsea’s future ‘will be more sustainable than it has been’ under new ownership

We will soon be finding out our future fate and who will become our new owners at Chelsea FC in the coming days/weeks.

Roman Abramovich has bought some serious success and many trophies to this club under his 20-year ownership, but things are about to change.

Chelsea’s summer transfer plans with a new forward on the agenda.

We are unlikely to see new owners come in and spend endless amounts of money buying the latest big name in the transfer market. We are more than likely to now see a sustainable approach, which for me, is only a good thing.

It means smart business, selling to buy, promoting from an academy that has already produced stars like Reece James and Mason Mount, and generally being wise in the transfer market buying for talent rather than names.

This was reiterated yesterday by the knowledgeable Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports, who was speaking on an extensive Chelsea takeover special on The Si & Dan Talk Chelsea Podcast this week.

Jacobs provided huge knowledge and details on every bidder and explained what will happen next and when we can expect to hear who will get the club.
