We reported earlier today that Jorginho was once again being linked with a return to Serie A, with Juventus apparently now interested, and that’s been followed by the player’s agent now speaking to CalcioMercato.
Joao Santos – who we’re pretty familiar with by now given the amount of time he spends speaking to the media, year after year – is quoted as saying that the midfielder is aware of the interest from the Old Lady.

But Santos points to a pretty obvious problem – Chelsea are currently sanctioned and can’t make any purchases or indeed sales until there is a new owner of the club.
Everything points to that situation being sorted out by the time the summer comes around, but there are no guarantees.
Jorginho’s contract expires next summer, and this seems like it will be the prime time to offload him, before his value starts to decline as a free transfer draws closer.
