Southampton manager says club don’t know who to ask about Armando Broja future

Armando Broja is having a brilliant season on loan at Southampton, breaking out into a serious player in his first season at in the Premier League.

The Saints would love to keep him for another season on loan we’re sure, or even better to buy him outright. But whatever they do, they’ve got a problem – the sanctions on Chelsea.

That means the Blues can’t buy or sell any players, sign any contracts, or really agree to do much. There’s total paralysis at the club until there is a new owner, and that means players like Broja have their future very much up in the air.

Ralph Hassenhuttl has now said that Southampton don’t even know who they should speak to about the striker.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so depressing. Let’s hope that it’s all sorted out soon and that the Albania star ends up back at the Bridge next season where he belongs.
