Chelsea are half way through their game against West Ham, and it’s been as sluggish a game as we feared so far.
West Ham have their sights on their midweek game in Europe, so they’ve rested key players and are looking pretty happy to just sit back and defend a 0-0.
The Blues on the other hand look like a team without much to play for, and with a half full Stamford Bridge sounding sleepy again, it’s hard to see Thomas Tuchel’s team being inspired to great heights.
After a midweek loss thanks to serious individual errors, Tuchel will have been horrified to see both Trevoh Chalobah and Cesar Azpilicueta slip up in that first period. Thankfully we weren’t punished this time as we had been in the last few weeks – but we’re still making the errors.
We expect a rocket from the manager at half time – and maybe a substitution too.
