Tuchel takes risk but uses momentum: Predicted Chelsea Xl vs Crystal Palace

The big games are coming in for Chelsea this week after a Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.

Of course, The Blues were hugely unlucky not to win the game have staged an impressive and spirited fight back against Real Madrid in their own backyard. In the end they just couldn’t see it through and can be proud still as they went out of the competition.

Chelsea’s summer transfer plans with a new forward on the agenda.

Sunday brings another cup competition, the FA Cup, and this time, it’s the semi-finals. Chelsea face Crystal Palace, who have been looking like a tough team to beat under Patrick Vieira.

Chelsea have been superb for the last two games though, and I believe that this is why we might see the same starting line-up against Palace as we saw for Madrid this week.

It’s a risk with fatigue and some players might need assessing, but I think the momentum and the form that this starting line-up have been producing, you simply cannot drop any of them and they present us with our best opportunity to make the final.

My predicted Xl:

(3-4-3): Mendy; James, Silva, Rudiger; Loftus-Cheek, Kovacic, Kante, Alonso; Mount, Havertz, Werner.
