Crystal Palace have had a really strong season this year, with a lot of their midfield momentum coming from young Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher.
He’s one player the Blues won’t have to worry about today, as he can’t face his parent club.
That’s a blow for the kid – he did so much to get them to Wembley, and now can’t feature.
Thomas Tuchel explained that he had run into his charge in a restaurant recently, and had apologised to him for the situation – even though the rules are clear and there was nothing Tuchel could have done anyway.
