Chelsea are going goalkeeper crazy it seems.
The Blues have the exceptional Edouard Mendy in as number one, the exceptionally expensive Kepa Arrizabalaga as number two, plus Marcus Bettinelli as their English homegrown slot filler.
Chelsea are close to signing Southampton U18 goalkeeper Eddie Beach. Understand a fee has been agreed. Lots of interest in him but looks like Chelsea have won race for Wales U19 international. One for the future #cfc

They’ve been heavily linked with DC United goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina in the last week too, and it seems they’re close to agreeing a fee for the teenager.
But before they complete that deal, they’ve already swooped for another kid – Southampton’s Eddie Beach.
Jacob Steinberg reported that a fee for the Wales youth international is agreed, and that they have won out despite “lots of interest” in the 18 year old.
He will presumably play for the youth team before going out on loan.
As Steinberg puts it – one for the future. If Slonina comes in too, that’s one area we can consider pretty sorted for the years to come, if either of them reach the heights expected of them.
UTTER NONSENCE.
KEPA IS STILL COLLECTING 150 K WEEKLY JUST FOR POLISHING THE BENCH.
WHAT’S THE NEED OF ANOTHER ONE?
