(Image): Defender comes up in conversations between Todd Boehly and Bayern Munich’s director

Todd Boehly is one very busy man this transfer window as he looks to secure a number of new signings for Chelsea.

Defenders appear to be the priority still, with Jules Kounde still being worked on. There may well be some backup options or further options that they will need to explore as well, and according to a report from L’Equipe this week, as cited below, Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard is on the shortlist.

Sources: Updates on NINE Chelsea players who have solid interest in them this window and could be sold.

As you’ll see from the image below this, I’ve had some good information on this one previously. Todd Boehly recently met with Bayern Munich’s director Hasan Salihamidzic and Pavard one was one the players discussed.

Chelsea are interested if Cesar Azpilicueta leaves, and they like the fact Pavard can play anywhere across the back four.
