Dermot Gallagher has been on Sky’s Ref Watch this morning to point out that Cristian Romero should have been sent off for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair in the final moments of the game.
Well, you don’t need an ex ref to tell you that, really.
The red card matters, even though it’s the last minute, because it affects Tottenham’s selection for the next 3 games. Their best defender should be banned.
But more importantly, Tottenham wouldn’t have had that final corner to score from, and we’d be three points ahead of them in the table.
