Graham Potter well received by Chelsea players who felt ‘ignored or frozen out’ under Tuchel

Graham Potter has still only managed one Chelsea game, but it feels like he has been in place for quite some time now regardless of that.

This is of course due to the fact that Chelsea had fixtures cancelled last week, and now we are on an international break. Potter has still had some quality time with his players though, and The Athletic has been reporting how that has gone so far.

Chelsea interested in signing AC Milan midfielder!

They claim thatĀ Graham Potter held meetings with his new Chelsea players. The tone was relaxed, with players encouraged to share honest assessments of their situations and of the team. Potter offered his thoughts on their abilities, opportunities for development and place in his plans.

This level of communication has been well received, both by the senior players who were important to Thomas Tuchel and those who felt ignored or frozen out by him in his final months.
