Chelsea fans didn’t get much of a chance to say goodbye to Thomas Tuchel.
In fact, they had barely had a whisper that he was going before he was unceremoniously fired last week.
So at today’s game they took the chance to applaud their dearly departed boss with a wave of applause in the 21st minute – mirroring the year in which Tommy won us the Champions League.
It was a small gesture, but we appreciated it all the same, and we hope he did too.
