“We’re not happy with it” – Mason Mount demands more despite two goals

Chelsea won 2-0 today thanks to two goals from Mason Mount, but the midfielder was not content after the game.

In quotes picked up by Sky Sports, the midfielder said he was “not happy” with the performance.

That’s what we like to hear – a player who has scored two and been essential to his team’s victory demanding more than just a win.

The three points are well received though – they put us back into the top 4 at last.

This was always going to be a tricky one – a first match without our key player Reece James. It would be fair to say we didn’t find a solution of how to play without him – but we did at least come away from an away game with 3 points.

Mount was brilliant – he just needs his teammates to step up to his level and we’ll be reeling off wins like these with no problem.

  1. Mount was “brilliant,” SuperFrank? Nah, Mount was good, but certainly not “brilliant.” Both goals were as much luck as skill (“right place at the right time” on the first and pure keeper error on the second, lol). Mount and, indeed, the rest of the squad, we’re a bit pedestrian for long stretches and Villa looked the better side in many moments. If not for the aforementioned luck and a Man of the Match performance by Kepa, we could easily have lost! After dominating in the early going, it seemed like Potter was struggling a bit to match Gerard’s tactics and the odd substitutions showed it. We can count ourselves fortunate to take the three points today!

  2. I don’t really like the way potter is using his team, he at times looks as if he is afraid to match the opponents. push the players up front and play your normal game.
