Levi Colwill finally gets Premier League start

Roberto De Zerbi has just named his team for an interesting clash for his Brighton team against Aston Villa, where he will face off against fellow newly arrived European coach Unai Emery.

What’s this got to do with Chelsea? Well, De Zerbi has picked Blues loanee Levi Colwill in his team.

This is the youngster’s first start in the Premier League – coming a long time after he made the switch in the summer. The centre back played in midweek for the Seagulls won an impressive victory against Arsenal, and clearly he’s done enough to impress his new coach.

The classy central defender has quality on the ball, which the former Sassuolo coach will love.

Ironically, De Zerbi’s predecessor Graham Potter is now at Chelsea, where he’s having his own difficulties in getting his defence sorted.

Good luck this afternoon, Levi! Let’s hope this is the start of a run in the team.
