(Video): Why Chelsea could sack Potter in January according to former player

Tony Cascarino was on TalkSport a couple of weeks ago talking about Graham Potter’s future, and he insisted that the new coach could be sacked as soon as January if things didn’t improve.

He said he didn’t believe the idea that the new owners would be patient, certainly not if things kept trending worse.

It’s the brutal truth, and it’s really hard to disagree with it.

Everyone knows, if Potter was to lose, say, TEN games in a row he would be sacked no matter who the owners were. So then it just becomes a question of what their tolerance is for falling out of the top 4. They may well be more lenient than Roman Abramovich, but that’s not saying much.
