“We will fight” – Chelsea winger warns his club teammates

Christian Pulisic has had a hard time at Chelsea, especially in the last year. Going on international dut, back to a team where he’s the star man and the key player, must be a relief for him.

This is his moment to shine – after missing out on the last World Cup, the USA are ready for this one and he will be captaining his country in Qatar.

To add to the spice, he will be playing against many of his Chelsea teammates when the US take on England in the group stage.

In quotes picked up by Football.London, he warned his colleagues not to expect an easy ride:

“We’re not at the World Cup just to make up the numbers. We go, we give it everything in every game we play, we make America proud. Wherever that takes us we have to wait and see.”

“I understand why there will be lots of talk and excitement around the England game,” he added.

“They have some of the best players in the world, players that I know well. There are three games in the group and one is no more important than the other two. In all three games, we will fight for the points.”

We’re already looking forward to the game on Monday – it’s the first spicy game of the group stage overall and it will really feel like the cup has begun when that’s on.

Perhaps Pulisic will end his year on a sweet note after all?

  1. The guy is good in talking only.
What has done since the season began..?
Useless creep should better LEAVE in JAN.

    1. What do you expect him to say, lol? That the US is gonna lay down for England??? It’s not like he’s puffing up his chest and saying the US is gonna smash everyone. He’s just saying the US will give the best fight they have.

I swear, the level of Christian Pulisic hate is stunning. You don’t have to love the guy, but, by god, just be fair to a guy that’s only ever given his best in blue. :/
