David Fofana attracting interest from foreign clubs

January recruit David Fofana, who Chelsea signed from Molde on a initial 8.6 million pound fee, is attracting interest from foreign clubs including Nice and Bayer Leverkusen, reports Santi Aouna.

Chelsea are willing to let Fofana leave on loan in order to gain more first team experience, Chelsea have been investing in a number of talents since the Todd Boehly led takeover and Fofana is thought to be a striker with huge promise.

So far, Graham Potter has only used Fofana once despite being named regularly on the bench for league matches, the player saw himself come on when Chelsea faced Manchester City in the FA CUP.

Terms have yet to be defined for a potential loan with any club but this could be one that moves fast towards the end of the window as Chelsea look to start clearing the squad for Graham Potter, thus in this case it would represent an ideal opportunity for Fofana to gain some valuable experience and game time.
