This is just silly now.
Chelsea equalised at the start of the first half, and just when things felt like they could be getting better, they’ve lost their debutant to a red card.
Joao Felix went in flying for a 50 50 with a straight leg, and it felt that from the moment he left the ground a red was certain. The appeals from the Fulham players then guaranteed it.
What makes it feel harsh is that the contact is pretty light, but in the end it was a potentially dangerous lunge, and he’s really not given the referee an option.
