The transfer to take Jorginho to Arsenal is underway, and we’re just trying to get our heads around the terms of the deal.
The Italy international will move for around £12m, and will sign an 18 month contract.
Normally you wouldn’t get a top player agreeing such a short contract – just look at Chelsea’s recent efforts – but this is a unique situation.
Jorginho is out of contract in the summer anyway, so even the 18 months he gets here gives him more security than he currently has.
