Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi has just had a press conference where he addressed today’s hop topic – the transfer links connecting his player Moises Caicedo, with Arsenal and Chelsea.
De Zerbi said that he hoped the Ecuador international stayed with him until the end of the season, as he thought that was the best path for him.
Now of course he’s bound to say that – he doesn’t want to lose a key player now. But he’s also being honest. Caicedo probably is best served by keeping up his great form and seeing what happens in the summer, rather than trying to force a move now.
