Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has some transfer advice for Chelsea this morning, amidst a big story bubbling up this summer.
Writing in the latest edition of ‘the Daily Briefing’, his exclusive CaughtOffside column, Romano believes that Chelsea need to do all they can to keep hold of England international Mason Mount.
Sources: Chelsea’s stance on Graham Potter, with key details!
The midfielder has a contract running out in 2024, and there is a lot of interest building up from clubs looking to sign him. You’d assume that if Chelsea cannot find an agreement to extend his contract with them, then they will probably allow him to be sold in the summer of 2023, hence all the noise right now and clubs lining up.
Romano says though, that Mount is an amazing player and is just lacking confidence right now.
He said: “I think the best idea for Mason Mount and Chelsea is to continue together, he just needs more confidence but I think he’s an amazing player.
“In case contract talks do end up collapsing, he’d be a great option for every club including Liverpool; but I hope Chelsea and Mount will find a way together.”
Jurgen Klopp is believed to be a big admirer of Mount, but I’m pretty sure there will be many other clubs also keen on landing the midfielder this summer.
Amazing player indeed Chelsea player is strong team now they are looking good to win any match game they can play
