It looks increasingly likely that Andrey Santos will return to Vasco De Gama on a short term loan, having failed to secure a UK work permit to join up with Chelsea.
The wonderkid signed in January and stayed in South American to play in Brazil’s youth team.
Chelsea were clearly hopeful he’d be able to get a work permit on appeal, but he missed out by one point, and there has seen been a couple of weeks of faffing around trying to work out where would be best to send him.
Andrey Santos looks set to join Vasco da Gama again on a very short loan deal, play in the U20 World Cup and likely join Chelsea on preseason after.
May only end up playing eight games back on loan so makes sense to re-join his former clubhttps://t.co/ACsKu4byRz #CFc

Palmeiras – one of Brazil’s top clubs – wanted him, but they only were willing to play ball on a year long deal which would keep Santos there until December. Chelsea want the chance to recall him in the summer for preaseason, which killed that proposal.
Now Nizaar Kinsella is among those claiming that a 3 month loan deal to return to Vasco, followed by a spell with the Brazil youth side at the U20 World Cup, looks most likely, leaving the 18 year old free to join up with Chelsea’s preseason.
I’m very big fan to a mighty Chelsea,
