But now, these talks have stopped completely and will not resume until the summer of 2023. And according to The Athletic, at this point, the club will either decide to extend his deal or sell him to an interest club, with many lining up.

The report claims that Chelsea want to concentrate on the Premier League and the Champions League, and any talks over a new deal will not continue until the summer, when a final decision will be made.
They say that so far, several offers from Chelsea have already been rejected by Mount and his people.
That has led to speculation that Mount could depart his boyhood side, and reports have suggested a number of suitors, most notably Liverpool, will attempt to prise him away from west London.
