Chelsea do rare evening session at Cobham after Champions League loss

Chelsea were playing in Germany this time last night, but after a late night flight home they were given the majority of the day off, meeting up today for a rare evening session under the lights at Cobham.

Graham Potter ran his players through their paces – presumably at a pretty low tempo given the game yesterday, with those who didn’t play getting more of a run around.

It was great to see the likes of Denis Zakaria and Mateo Kovacic with the group – they’re surely ready for some minutes this weekend after frustrating injuries to both of them.

It wasn’t a punishment as far as we know – and in fact a lot of the players look to be enjoying themselves. It’s just all part of the new rhythm of the season after we return to 2 games a week (albeit perhaps for only one week).

It’s a true must win on Saturday.

  1. Yes, Potter enjoying the kids with his players.
Piss this incompetent fool off. Rubbish coach. Sack Pedestrian Pottwr NOW!
This farce has gone on too long.

  2. I honestly don’t see why he’s still with us, at least yet….
I really hope things get better, with or without Potter, I just wanna see my team up top and playing fine football again.
