Chelsea given two days off training as pressure ramps up on Graham Potter

According to most media reports over the weekend, Chelsea are still backing manager Graham Potter despite losing to bottom of the table Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea fans are used to the club sacking managers after poor runs like Potter has been having, but we have always been hearing that Potter is the long-term project manager under this ownership group. But that is going to be tested now and over the next few weeks for sure.

The pressure is fully on Potter right now regardless, and you’d be silly to bet against the Chelsea board sacking him.

Speculation and rumours have continued this week after Chelsea have been given two days off training, although these days are apparently scheduled days off regardless. Even still, this will certainly add fuel to the sacking fire and get tongues wagging.

Many Blues fans are now fuming that the players have been rewarded with two days off after such poor form of late.
