Chelsea ‘have not yet made a decision’ on crucial area of the pitch

The big decisions will not stop at Chelsea and there are plenty more crucial ones coming up despite the latest transfer window now being closed.

Whilst the coaches and players return focus to on the pitch and trying to get results there for a good second half of the season, the board room continues to ponder some decisions going forward and for the summer transfer window.

One of those is arguably the most crucial area on the pitch, the goalkeeper position.

Edouard Mendy lost his number one spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga, and the club have been linked with potential new goalkeepers in the summer as a result. I can’t see Mendy wanting to stay as a backup, so some decisions will soon need to be made on this one.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, no decisions have been made yet as to whether the club will be going for a new number one stopper in the summer or not, as below:
