Chelsea have a close rival breathing down their necks for one of their key players right now, according to a report today.
It’s perhaps a testament to the player and the quality of said player when Manchester City appreciate you, so props to Ben Chilwell in that regard.

Some Chelsea fans perhaps don’t even appreciate him as much as he should be, and when Pep Guardiola rates a player, it’s probably best to admit that he is probably a good player!
Chilwell suffered a couple bad injuries and has been struggling for top form since, but the quality he has when in top form should not be debated in my view.
Fabrizio Romano says that Manchester City have appreciated Chilwell for years, writing in his exclusive Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside.
Chilwell has been linked with City in the last week or so, and Romano admits he is one of many on their shortlist.
“Ben Chilwell is one of the players who has been appreciated by Manchester City for years,” Romano said.
“For sure he’s one of the LB to consider, but I’m told not the only one. They will have a shortlist of players in that position and will decide how to proceed together with Pep in May/June.”
