It’s an exciting time to be a Chelsea fan right now, there are no two ways about it.
The new owners are showing huge ambitions and investing in the club from top to bottom. The academy, the men’s team, and the women’s team are all being heavily invested in and focused on, and then the club also looking to build up the stadium and increase capacity.

The players that have arrived in the summer and then in the winter transfer windows have huge quality and are going some way to rebuilding the squads. The men’s team need to make vast improvements on the pitch and it looks like the new owners are not prepared to do the rebuild slowly!
Enzo Fernandez is the biggest marquee arrival so far and he is already showing his quality. His current team mate Joao Felix believes he be one of the best midfielders in Europe.
Speaking to AS, Felix said: “He [Enzo Fernandez] is a very good guy. He has entered the group very well. He arrived two days before a game and already started playing. It has been very good. He’s a very good player.”
And on the amount paid for Enzo by Chelsea, Felix said: “It’s increasingly normal to pay amounts like this. Football has changed and it’s normal to pay 80, 90, 100, 110 million for players. He deserves the money because he is a young player, he is very good, and he has a lot of room to evolve. He will surely be one of the best midfielders in Europe.”
I agree, but I actually think he will become one of the best midfielders in the world!
