Chelsea transfer deal now ‘almost done’ after ‘collapsed’ move last week

Chelsea are close to confirming another transfer deal outside of the transfer window, according to a report this morning.

The Andrey Santos situation has been very strange. He was signed early in the January transfer window and arrived in the UK. But unfortunately he was unable to get a work permit even though it seemed like he was going to be staying with Chelsea for the rest of this season.

Sources: Todd Boehly’s reaction when Harry Kane scored Tottenham’s second goal yesterday!

That hasn’t happened and therefore Chelsea have been trying to find a club to loan him to. Last week it looked like that club would be Palmeiras in Brazil. But those talks broke down and the deal collapsed.

Fabrizio Romano now says that Santos is close to rejoining his former club Vaso De Gama on loan from Chelsea.

Vasco seemingly more willing to accept Chelsea’s unique terms as they push for a work permit for the summer. The main thing is he keeps playing football.
