Christian Pulisic linked with unlikely late transfer switch

This is always a funny time of year for transfer rumours.

The main European windows are closed, and their reopening for summer is still distant.

It’s a time when you hear those words of desperation, for transfer rumours writers and for wantaway players alike – Turkey.

One of the few remaining leagues with a window open and enough money to feasibly sign from the Premier League, Turkey often crops up as it does here, providing a shaky potential destination for a Chelsea star without a role.

Christian Pulisic is that man according to Football.London. They say that Galatasaray are interested in signing the winger. We’d love to believe it, but to us this is another classic case of wishful thinking.

Pulisic will be desperate to move somewhere where he can play, but this feels a bridge too far for now. He’s in our Champions League squad anyway, and we expect him to get at least some minutes between now and the end of the season.

  1. Get real! Turkey is where players go when they no longer have a place in England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Holland,…. There’s no way in hell Pulisic would agree to go to Turkey at this stage in his career, lol!
