Eden Hazard is back in England for tonight’s game between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Hazard is on the bench at Anfield tonight and will be hoping to get some minutes in the game.
Eden had a lot of success against Liverpool and was known as one of his favourite opponents to play against when he was at Chelsea.
Ravaged by injuries, Hazard has suffered massively since making his move to Real Madrid in 2019.
There is a major possibility that Eden will leave Real Madrid next summer but a move back to Chelsea is not seen as something realistic. Hazard will never lose his talent but has certainly lost his burst to get away from players that he used to have.
As mentioned, Hazard has suffered with many injuries since joining, with multiple being to the ankle area. He had a metal plate removed in his ankle in 2022 after medics inserted it in 2020 after a challenge from Thomas Meunier caused a clean break.
