It is pretty clear now that Graham Potter is being fully backed by the Chelsea board even after a poor run of results and performances.
The club seemingly have no intentions of sacking the manager right now and they have shown him their full support and backing, part of which saw them bring in a brand new recruitment team featuring former Brighton staff, and a host of new players in the January transfer window.

And according to The Evening Standard, Potter has already passed a test that Thomas Tuchel, his predecessor, failed.
They claim that Chelsea’s owners remain behind head Potter despite fan discontent, and see Mikel Arteta’s early struggles at Arsenal as an example of a rebuild needing time.
Tuchel was sacked by the owners after they conducted a comprehensive review into their first 100 days at the club. But Potter has comfortably survived a similar review, and Boehly and Eghbali continue to support him in a rebuilding project centred around young players.
