Poor Denis Zakaria had to wait a long time for his chance at Chelsea, and he then picked up an injury just as he had established himself in the team.
But a picture he posted today showing him on the static bike next to Reece James with the caption “step by step” shows he’s well on his way to a return.
He’s clearly not yet in full group work yet – hence him just being on the exercise bike rather than training with the squad – but he’s likely just days away.
