Reece James is back in the Chelsea lineup tonight after his latest frustrating injury spell. This season (so far) has been as bad as last for James in terms of his fitness, and it’s clear his latest setback was very mentally draining for him.
The Blues at Stamford Bridge fans knew what to do though – give him a banner to celebrate his return. The full back saw it as the teams lined up before kick off, and looked genuinely moved. Let’s hope this is his last injury return for a long, long time.
