A Twitter account has just pointed out the difference in appearance between the Thomas Tuchel team which waited in the tunnel to play Manchester City in Porto in 2021, and the Graham Potter side which ambled out to face Southampton on Saturday.

Of course, it’s not quite a fair comparison. One is a Champions League final, the other a home match against the bottom team in the league. We’re sure that even Potter’s team would be a bit more intense if they were in a final.
On the other hand, one could argue that any team that doesn’t take every game seriously will never make a final anyway.
