Inter demand huge drop in Lukaku to keep striker for another year

This time a year ago, Romelu Lukaku was the biggest Chelsea news story around.

The Belgian had fired his team into the Club World Cup final, but the interview he had done with Sky Italia was a stinking cloud over the whole situation.

In the summer he was shipped off to Inter Milan and we’ve since had other things to think about – but he will be back in the summer unless we can come to another arrangement.

His season in Serie A has been almost non-existent due to injury, but he’s back picking up minutes again now, and the Italians are keen to keep him – but only at a discount.

Today’s Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter want another year of the loan, but with a significantly lower cost – perhaps as low as 50% of the loan fee they’re paying this year.

If they really try to low ball us – could we see him brought back to work in the Blues first team? It’s not impossible…

  1. I pray and wish, Chelsea and Inter Milan would not come to terms so that Lukaku comes back to Stamford Bridge in summer.

  2. Italianos avaros pordioseros, que se jodan no más negocios con ellos. Talves se puede usar a Lukaku como moneda de cambio por el delantero del Napoli
