Todd Boehly is already thinking about building around Joao Felix for the future, according to well connected Spanish reporter Mateo Moretto via relevo.
Boehly, who has built an excellent relationship with Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes, will likely look to strike an agreement in the summer if Felix continues with this current form.
Some might say it is a bit reactionary to plan around a player that has played two games for a new club, however Joao looks like a player Chelsea haven’t had since Eden Hazard.. the pure talent in his dribbling, passing, movement and ability to link up with team mates has had Chelsea fans rightly rave about him.
It is thought that a figure of 85 million pounds could be enough to secure Felix on a permanent deal and Boehly will look to use Jorge Mendes to help strike a deal.
Felix is currently preparing to help Chelsea try and conquer Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.
