Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea are in talks to extend the contract of one of their rising stars as a main priority.
There was some whispers going around yesterday suggesting that talks were happening, and Romano has now backed that up in his exclusive Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside.

Lewis Hall has come on leaps and bounds this season and he became a regular feature in the first team under Graham Potter. There was even a period where he was keeping Marc Cucurella out of the team, who of course cost a big sum of money in the summer.
Hall has looked very good, and it looks like Chelsea are now trying to reward him with a new contract.
Romano confirms that talks with his reps are happening right now, but there is nothing completed as of yet.
“Chelsea are speaking to Hall representatives, new contract has been discussed. It’s not completed yet but it’s one of the new deal in talks alongside Kante and especially Thiago Silva, main priority,” Romano said.
This is a great move from Chelsea, Hall looks like another one with potential to become top class.
