Manager recently approached by Chelsea is open to management return

There has been many rumours and a lot said about the future of Chelsea head coach Graham Potter this week after a poor run of performances and results.

Things are really tense and tough right now at the club, and they need results to pull through this period and perhaps stop the talk of sacking Potter for now.

Sources: Chelsea already working on signing a big name new striker this summer!

The fans seemed to have turned against him, and the media have all been writing their reports on the situation. The majority of reports suggest that Chelsea are still fully behind and backing Potter, but there was one rumour last week linking Mauricio Pochettino to the job.

However, Pochettino WOULD be open to returning to management, according to Fabrizio Romano via his latest CaughtOffside Substack column.

He’s confirmed on the report that Pochettino would be open to a return to management, and the former Spurs boss was approached by Chelsea last year.

However, Romano has confirmed that he’s unaware of any approach for Pochettino this time round.

  1. I dont think he is the right person for Chelsea. Failed at tottenham, failed at PSG. Either Zidane or Mourhino.
