‘No approaches made’ by Chelsea for any potential new managers

Rumours yesterday suggested that Chelsea had made an approach for a potential new manager to replace Graham Potter.

Links suggested that former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino had even rejected an approach from Chelsea to become their new manager.

Sources: Chelsea already working on signing a big name new striker this summer!

However, according to information given by sources to us at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, we understand that the club have made no approaches for any potential new managers recently, and they remain committed to Graham Potter and are backing him and the project, for now.

A lot has been said about Potter this week after Chelsea lost at home to bottom of the league Southampton on Saturday, which was unacceptable.

But the club are not ready to give up on Potter just yet and continue to be behind him. This means there haven’t’ been any approaches made to new managers. It’s normal for clubs to have contingency plans and perhaps names they could turn to. But no moves have been made nor do they plan to.
