Emma Hayes has been speaking in her press conference today, revealing some further interesting information about how Chelsea are functioning behind the scenes at the moment.
She was a big fan of the previous ownership – who appointed her and supported her and her team to the very top. And it seems like her relationship with the new ownership is just as good, if not better.
Emma Hayes: "I had lunch with Graham [Potter], Todd [Boehly] and Behdad [Eghbali] the other day. It was a really warm, lovely environment. It's a family here — it's more of a family than it's ever been I would say."

It seems she, Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and Graham Potter all met up for lunch, and Hayes used that as an example of how the club had more of a family feeling than ever before.
What a fun image – we wondered what they talked about? Perhaps Emma Hayes took the chance for further investment in the women’s team, given the frightening quantity lavished on the men’s first team squad.
Whatever was the subject of conversation over the meal (we bet it was an exceptionally expensive one), it’s great to see the owners bringing everyone together, and the inspirational Hayes saying that it’s a “lovely environment” still.
