It was all expected to go through right up until the final seconds, and then all sorts of rumours came out explaining what was wrong, with French sources claiming PSG are furious with Chelsea.

They said the paperwork was not filed correctly or on time by Chelsea, but as seen below, Chelsea’s version of events are a little different.
They say the agreement was sent in on time but PSG sent an email back to be signed but technical issues caused a delay and the deadline to be missed.
The whole situation has been absolutely crazy and you have to spare a real thought for Ziyech, who must be left feeling completely disappointed and frustrated by all this.
