Todd Boehly and PSG’s present Nasser Al Khelaifi met over the possible transfer of Neymar on Tuesday, according to well connected French journalist Julien Laurens, as reported on ESPN.
Boehly was offered the possibility to recruit Neymar last summer, and sources said the American owner was tempted, but a move never materialized.
Thomas Tuchel was also said to be in massive favour of the move last summer having already coached Neymar.
Al Khelaifi and Boehly met in a luxury hotel near the Arc de Triomphe for lunch, according to the source.
There has always been a feeling that Todd Boehly wants a true superstar signing for more reasons than just on the Football pitch i.e marketing opportunities.
