We expected major changes from Graham Potter, and he’s reverted to a team very similar to the one that lost to Dortmund last week, with 6 changes to his team.
Kepa in goal, with the first choice full backs Reece James and Ben Chilwell in action out wide, flanking Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly. We’re not quite sure what Benoit Badiashile has done wrong, presumably Potter is trying to keep the same partnership going in the middle of defence to build some chemistry.
It’s an Enzo – Ruben Loftus-Cheek midfield pair, with Joao Felix, Hakim Ziyech and Raheem Sterling playing behind Kai Havertz.
Ziyech was a missed fax away from leaving the club on deadline day, and is now seemingly first choic every week.
