Loud sarcastic cheers were heard from the Chelsea away section when Graham Potter subbed off Marc Cucurella in today’s game against West Ham, and the Chelsea manager was asked about that in his press conference.
He defended the full back, pointing to “another club” (widely know to be Man City), who were interested in the Spaniard in the summer.
What happened after that? Well, Man City decided to not pay what Brighton wanted for their full back, and Chelsea paid. It’s not looking like a good decision so far.
