Asked about the penalty decision that potentially cost his team a win, Graham Potter could have got angry.
Instead he was darkly comic, pointing out “it was a good save.”
In a moment where he could have blamed something else for the bad result, he didn’t it’s admirable in a way.
Of course usually we’re sick of seeing managers complain about referees after games, but this was so egregious – and Potter is so in need of something to last out at, that we’re just disappointed he didn’t take the chance, for his own sake.
